The Aalborg UNESCO PBL Centre is responsible for activities to develop PBL competences for all students at the Technical Faculty for IT and Design (TECH) and the Faculty for Engineering and Science (ENG), Aalborg University. 

The activities can be divided into four areas: 

• A 5 ECTS COURSE ON PBL FOR ALL STUDENTS AT 1. SEMESTER BACHELOR FOR ENG AND TECH 
• WORKSHOP TO STUDENTS ENTERING THE AAU PBL ENVIRONMENT AT MASTER LEVEL
• TAILOR-MADE WORKSHOPS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS’ PROGRESSION IN PBL COMPETENCES THROUGHOUT THE STUDY (see below)
• A COMPETENCE PROFILE WORKSHOP TO MAKE PERSONAL PBL COMPETENCES EXPLICIT FOR EXTERNAL PARTNERS

We offer tailor-made workshops to support students’ progression in PBL competences throughout the course of their studies.

The Aalborg Unesco PBL Centre offers a range of tailor-made courses and workshops in PBL all of which are offered on a request basis.

For example, we offer workshops on the following topics:

• Interdisciplinary teamwork / workshop i tværfagligt samarbejde
• Interdisciplinary problem design / arbejde tværfagligt med problemdesign
• Individual and group motivation / arbejde med egen motivation
• Professional communication as part of problem based project work / professionel kommunikation i det problembaserede projektarbejde
• Digital methods for project work / digitale metoder i projektarbejdet
• Team dynamics / gruppedynamikker
